Join us for an informal Zoom kickoff event for Spring sessions of the Online Teaching Certification Seminar, Missouri Online's primary faculty development program. This event will provide an opportunity to:
- Meet a seminar facilitator
- Get an overview of the course structure and content
- Participate in a Q&A session
The seminar is a comprehensive, asynchronous program designed to equip faculty with the skills for effective online instruction. The seminar is endorsed by the Online Learning Consortium.
Key features of the seminar:
- Fulfills the UM System-wide requirement for online teaching certification
- Offered in two formats: a six-week intensive course or a 16-week semester-based version
- 100% online, delivered through Canvas
This kickoff event will set you up for success in the certification seminar and join the more than 3,500 University of Missouri System instructors who are certified to teach online.
