Description
This session was planned in collaboration with the Teaching for Learning Center (University of Missouri-Columbia) but is open to all faculty and staff in the university system.
Get a sneak peek at new versions of the Online Teaching certification and recertification seminars, Missouri Online’s primary faculty development programs that have certified more than 2,500 instructors to deliver quality online learning experiences. The seminars support the UM System-wide requirement that instructors teaching online courses be certified prior to teaching online and recertified every 5 years. The new versions encompass online facilitation, instructional design, and Canvas development skills and provide flexible, alternative paths to recertification. Once you’ve developed your online course, it should go through the Quality Course Review (QCR) process before being offered to students. The QCR process ensures that your course focuses on student-centered engagement and alignment and that it meets national accreditation and certification. Join us to learn more!
