- Canvas Community Post: Google Homework Help Feature
- Chrome has a new button from Google Lens showing as “Homework Help” that will scan a page and answer homework and quiz questions. Instructure is reaching out to Google to emphasize and collaborate on the commitment to academic integrity and excellence. In our instance of Canvas, we have worked with Honorlock to ensure that quizzes and assignments using Honorlock are protected. If a student attempts to use this feature while taking an Honorlock-enabled exam, Honorlock will block the student from continuing the exam until they both close the Homework Help sidebar and acknowledge that they understand the tool is not allowed.
